St. Elizabeth Physicians Student Health Clinic (SHC) offers a wide variety of services to the NKU community. Explore the specific areas below for more information.

Lab testing for strep, mono, flu, COVID 19, pregnancy, blood sugar (glucose) can be done onsite. Other lab testing can be done if medically necessary and ordered by the Nurse Practitioner.

HIV Testing

Free and confidential HIV and Hepatitis C screening is available to all NKU students, in partnership with the Northern Kentucky Health Department.
Testing is done with a finger stick, and results are available in about 20 minutes.
Free HIV and Hepatitis C testing is by appointment only.

LGBTQ Services

The staff at the Health Office is sensitive and knowledgeable about LGBTQ students' medical needs.
The environment is inclusive and supportive or diversity in the areas of sexual orientation and gender expression.
