Marketing & Communications currently manages content on more than 30 digital signs in nine buildings throughout campus running several different sets of information. We operate signs in:

  • Business Academic Center
  • Campus Recreation Center
  • Griffin Hall
  • Landrum Academic Center
  • Lucas Administrative Center
  • Mathematics, Education, Psychology Center
  • Parking Services
  • Steely Library
  • University Center
  • Welcome Center


  • Digital slides must be submitted as a JPG or PDF file sized 1920 x 1080 pixels.
  • Digital slide requests should be submitted no less than one week before they are scheduled to start running.
  • There is a limit of one slide per event/activity.
  • There will be a two-week running limit for each submission.
  • Submissions not pertaining to the NKU campus or events not directly sponsored by an NKU organization/department will not be considered.
  • Please indicate on your submission which building(s) you would like your slide to run in: Business Academic Center, Founders Hall, Griffin Hall, Landrum Academic Center, Lucas Administration Center or “All Signs.” (Note: Marketing and Communications does not manage the digital screens in the Student Union.)
  • Please consider these best practices when drafting your submissions:
    • Use language economically – fewer, shorter words.
    • Use action-oriented verbs and active construction.
    • Headline-like phrases work better than full sentences.
    • Consider a single word as an attention-getter.
    • Deliver one focused message.
    • Avoid too many messages in one slide.
    • Do not hesitate to ask for help.
