Updated Work Control Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm
NKU Key Control will alter its usual process of key requests, key delivery, pick-ups and key returns until this pandemic is over. All key requests must be submitted via email: NKUkeycontrol@nku.edu.
Key delievery will be postponed until campus goes back to normal activity. Keys may be picked up from the Maintenance Building (70 Campbell Drive) on Wednesdays between the hours of 9am-1pm. Please note there are two entrances to the maintenance building, use the second entrance and go around the back of the building.
Key returns should be sent through interdepartmental mail to MA 106, addressed to work control.

Located at 70 Campbell Drive (MA 106), the Work Control Office (WCO) is the communication hub for Operations and Maintenance, providing a centralized contact-point for work requests and information. The role of the WCO is to facilitate customer requests, maintain the equipment and work-order database and gather and disseminate information. The WCO processes over 20,000 work-orders per year, recording all requests for maintenance or other specialty assistance.
Along with work orders, the WCO is also responsible for Key Control and All card access.

*Emergency entails life safety and the situation presents imminent danger to someone’s life and/or wellbeing or something that may impose immediate large scale damage to building infrastructure such as a utility line rupture, window breakage or possible fire, etc.
