Subject: Welcome new Regent Debbie Wulfeck

Dear Colleagues,

Please join me in welcoming Debbie Wulfeck as a new member of the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents following her appointment this week by Governor Andy Beshear. She replaces Elizabeth Thompson, and her term will run through June 30, 2027.

Debbie has lived in northern Kentucky for 52 years and is a proud 1994 graduate of NKU with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with a minor in math.  Currently, she maintains a busy schedule as a devoted philanthropist involved with Children’s Home Northern Kentucky, the Dragon Fly Foundation, and Emergency Shelter NKY. She is a mother of three and has seven grandchildren.

Debbie is a proven pillar in northern Kentucky and her dedication to serving our community make her an outstanding addition to our board. I look forward to partnering with her as we move forward in our mission for student success and regional stewardship.

All my best,

Cady Short-Thompson, Ph.D.
