Students in the School-Based Scholars program are welcome to come to NKU's main campus (Highland Heights) or NKU's Grant County campus (Williamstown, KY) to take courses. Students are also welcome to take online courses.
For any of these courses, students must meet any course pre-requisites. The SBS program encourages students to take general education courses, as those are the best suited for dual-credit students. To see what is being offered, view the NKU class schedule.
To receive advising for courses on our Highland Heights (main campus), the Grant County campus, and/or online; please check out Dual-Credit Advising.
We've partnered with several campus departments to develop career exploration tracks. Students interested in majoring in one of these areas may wish to enroll in a track to get up to 12 hours toward a major completed, depending on the track. Please click on a track to read more about the track, pre-requisites, courses, and online/campus options.
Below is a list of our high school partners. We offer a number courses within our local high schools for students in any given semester. These courses are only open to those students who attend the high school in which the course is being held. Inquire with your school counselor if your school will be hosting one of our courses in the upcoming semester.
