First-Year Research Experience

FYRE is a new initiative that provides first-year students with an inclusive faculty-mentored research experience. By joining FYRE, students explore broad research topics and get involved in interdisciplinary research and creative projects in collaboration with a community of faculty and students from all across campus.

Alpha Lambda Delta

First-Year Programs oversees the NKU chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD), the Honor Society for First-Year Students. Eligible students are formally inducted in the spring of their first year and become part of a community of scholars for the remainder of their college experience.

Major Minor Fair

The focus of this event is to connect students with academic departments and student support services every Fall semester in October!
