Being on a college campus for the first time can be a bit overwhelming. Not knowing what student resources are available and how to begin your college career can be stressful. The Pathfinder Program wants all students to have a smooth transition into college, and this is why we require all Pathfinder students to complete University 101.

Northern Kentucky University has a lot to offer its students; sometimes, this can overwhelm first-year students. University 101 will help smooth the transition from high school to college and help alleviate any stress. This three-credit hour academic course has helped thousands of students over the years.

In UNV 101, students will develop and learn the skills necessary to build their college careers. The following topics are covered in the course:

  • Developing Self-Management and Discipline
  • Developing a Professional Network
  • Becoming Aware of Student Resources
  • Major and Career Exploration

All Pathfinder students are required to complete University 101.
