Our country’s veteran community are amazingly dedicated, disciplined, selfless and talented, and the student veterans at Northern Kentucky University are no exception! Our veterans have selflessly served our country and have chosen to return to school in order to further their education and continue their service to society.
Northern Kentucky University has been voted and ranked nationally as one of the Best for Vets universities, one of the Top Colleges and Universities for Advanced Education and Transition, and one of the top Military Friendly Universities, and we proudly serve our military connected and veteran student population with special programs and services to ensure their academic success and transition into college. Furthermore, the NKY community welcomes military affiliated and veterans to the region - learn more at Veterans - Welcome in NKY.
There are a variety of ways in which our community can help our student veteran be successful. Consider mentoring, volunteering, resume reviews, service projects, hiring and/or a donation is always appreciated and used for engagement and programs. Contact the VRS for additional information or sign up here.
Located in the Student Success Center (UC 131), the station’s mission is to be a one-stop liaison that fosters a community to provide, facilitate, and coordinate programs and services for our veterans, military affiliated students, faculty and staff in accomplishing their goals.
