Our country’s veteran community are amazingly dedicated, disciplined, selfless and talented, and the student veterans at Northern Kentucky University are no exception! Our veterans have selflessly served our country and have chosen to return to school in order to further their education and continue their service to society.
Northern Kentucky University has been voted and ranked nationally as one of the Best for Vets universities, one of the Top Colleges and Universities for Advanced Education and Transition, and one of the top Military Friendly Universities, and we proudly serve our veteran student population with special programs and services to ensure their academic success and transition into college. Together with the veteran community, we have made great progress and know we can do much more with the help from our neighbors within the community.
There are a variety of ways in which our community can help our student veteran be successful.
Located in the Student Success Center (UC 131), the station’s mission is to create a community of university personnel, students and community agencies that provide, facilitate or coordinate programs and services that increase the likelihood of veterans, student service members and their family members completing their educational goals.
