What is your favorite thing about NKU?
My favorite thing about NKU is the focus on community engagement. I love being able to partner with the many community organizations and schools to bring our resources directly to folks who need them.
Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
My favorite spot on campus is the Abraham Lincoln statue in front of Nunn Hall. My husband and I both work on campus and that spot is between our buildings so we meet there when we carpool home together.
What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU?
Community.
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
I enjoy playing board games and tabletop roleplaying games. My favorite is Mysterium, a game where one person plays as a ghost and communicates to mediums through surrealist art who done it.
What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion is advocating for better representation of women in media. I started a nonprofit, Super Heroines, Etc., for just this purpose. We create community for folks who like geek media (graphic novels, superhero movies, etc.) and advocate for women to have more and better representation. My second greatest passion is dog rescue. I have two rescue dogs and continually promote adoptable dogs.
