"I have been working in higher education for over 23 years...After coming to NKU, I never wanted to go back to a large institution because we get know our students by name. I wouldn’t have it any other way."

What is your favorite thing about NKU?
The sense of community and family we have with each other and with students.

Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
The tiered step outdoor venue. What makes that spot so special?  I love watching classes meeting out there, see a student performer or just watch the students stopping by to enjoy the sunshine and chat.

What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU?
Welcoming.

What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
Anything that involves bringing our dogs with me whether it is walking them, taking them for rides, taking them shopping, taking them for ice cream or just snuggling with them.

What is your greatest passion?
Making a difference for students in their educational journey.

Tell us anything else about yourself and/or NKU that you want folks to know (include any NKU social media handles you are connected with/use).
Between my time at OU and my time at NKU, I have been working in higher education for over 23 years and I love it because of the amazing students, NKU administration/faculty/staff/departments and programs I have the privilege to work with and get to know. After coming to NKU, I never wanted to go back to a large institution because we get know our students by name and number instead of just a number, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
