"These three women have worked tirelessly to make sure NKU faculty, staff and students have had access to COVID testing, vaccinations and information since the beginning. They stayed on campus when many of us worked from home. They are always available to answer questions, provide compassionate care, and go above and beyond to assist others on a daily basis. They are the definition of providing healing and promoting hope!"
What is your favorite thing about NKU?
My favorite thing about NKU are my coworkers at NKU’s Health, Counseling & Student Wellness. They continually encourage my passions, challenge me to dream and work tirelessly with for a common goal. Our team is the little engine that could—and it’s great to be able to make an impact!
Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
When I do get the chance, I enjoy sitting by the Loch Norse, on a sunny day in silence, watching the water and wildlife during my lunch; it’s a great retreat from the hustle of the day to day.
What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU?
The first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU is “community."
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
My favorite way to spend your free time is watching FC Cincinnati games at the stadium with extended family. We are season ticketholders since the inaugural season. Win or lose, it’s a great memory we share. Watching the tri-state embrace this sport makes me so happy! #FCC
What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion is making people smile or laugh, showing kindness and helping others. I love gardening, water gardening and DIY crafts. I enjoy giving a fresh spin or purpose to something others wouldn’t imagine, “trash to treasures” are my thing. The Beatles channel is my preset on my radio. If the USA Soccer team is playing, I’m watching either in person or on TV.
