"I love the wonderful opportunities that NKU offers that challenges students, faculty and staff to grow as community leaders."
What is your favorite thing about NKU?
I love the wonderful opportunities that NKU offers that challenges students, faculty and staff to grow as community leaders. NKU seeks to cultivate an environment where students from all walks of life with a diverse array of dreams and aspirations can thrive throughout their time in college and beyond.
Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
My favorite spot on campus is the green space between Landrum and the Baptist Campus Ministry. It is a great place to hang a hammock between two of the trees to relax and read or even just to sit on the benches and enjoy nature. I also have a lot of fond memories of fun orientation leader training in that space through exercises like "The Ground is Lava" using cardboard.
What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU?
Home. This is a place where many students like myself have found a safe space to grow, learn and be sent out into our future careers just as you find a safe space to grow, learn and be cared for in a childhood home. The home is marked not by a building but most importantly the wonderful people that live inside.
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
I love to read, be outside and spend time with friends.
What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion is helping and serving others.
