"Kendyl is currently a team captain on the Norse Softball Team. She has demonstrated commitment to her team and her studies. She leads by example on and off the field for her underclassman teammates and strives to push them to greatness. What is your favorite thing about NKU?
My favorite things about NKU are the faculty members that have been so welcoming and easy to work with and learn from and my teammates who make every day so much fun!
Where is your favorite spot on campus? What makes that spot so special?
My favorite spot on campus is our team's locker room. It's a place I can go and relax and do homework or grab a bite to eat. I love having a place to get away from school during the day.
What’s the first word that comes to mind when you think about NKU?
Support. I have been lucky enough to receive amazing support from both the academia side of NKU and the athletics side as well. In both places, I have been given amazing support and preparation for whatever my needs may be.
What is your favorite way to spend your free time?
Free time comes few and far between, but I love exploring Cincinnati and taking my dog Sammy to the dog park.
What is your greatest passion?
My greatest passion is sports and helping athletes. I am lucky enough to still be able to be an athlete, but I know that time is ending. With new NIL opportunities and agency work, I hope to continue to help athletes past my playing days. I am so excited for a future sports career. I am thankful for all sports have given and hope to continue to give back to athletes like myself. #NorseUp
