Suggested full-time course load is 15-16 semester hours.
Additional tuition is charged for 17 or more hours in fall and spring semesters.
Minimum course load for full-time undergraduate status during the fall and spring semester is 12 semester hours; the minimum course load for full-time graduate status during the fall or spring semester is 6 semester hours.
Students on academic probation may not take more than 13 semester hours.
Approval by dean of major is required to register for more than 18 semester hours.
Except in special circumstances, the maximum course load for combined summer sessions is 15 semester hours.
Only 3 semester hours may be taken during summer intersession.
A maximum of 6 semester hours may be taken in any summer session.
Minimum course load for full-time undergraduate status during the summer semester is 9 semester hours; the minimum course load for full-time graduate status during the summer semester is 5 semester hours. For financial aid purposes the maximum course load for full-time undergraduate students during the summer semester is 12 semester hours; the maximum course load for full-time graduate students during the summer semester is 12 hours.
