Academic advising provides students with the opportunity to openly explore academic and career alternatives with an advisor.

All undeclared students in University Studies must meet individually with their advisor before registering for classes each semester. The Norse Advising Center provides advising to these students. During the advising session, students will receive course approval for registering.

The proper selection of courses is important for every NKU student. Therefore, you are encouraged to meet your academic advisor prior to registration each term. First-time students will be assigned an academic advisor during student orientation programs.
