Getting Started

If you are getting started on your first resume, read our Resume Preparation Guide, which will walk you through the entire process, step-by-step. Resume Review

Once you have a resume created, we strongly encourage you to have it reviewed by Career Services.  For feedback by email, send your resume or cover letter to ResumeHelp@nku.edu. We will carefully inspect your document for errors, inconsistencies, etc., and assist you with the overall flow of your language and layout to maximize the impact of your resume.   

Please include any relevant information, such as:

  • What position(s) are you applying for with this resume?
  • Do you have any questions or concerns you'd like us to address?
  • Is this for a class assignment?
