Student Employment Process and Forms

Student Hiring Information

All new student employees and student employees that have not worked on campus within the last twelve months are required to complete a background check. You will receive an email to complete a background check and your employment is contingent upon the results of the check. Previous campus employment can be verified with the Financial Assistance Office. You are not eligible to work until a clear background check is sent to your potential supervisor.

The following MUST be returned COMPLETED to the Office of Student Financial Assistance ASAP. (If paperwork is not completed properly, it will be returned to the supervisor which will delay the processing of your paycheck.)  By completing the packet, you will be turning in all needed forms.

Forms to be processed:

General New Hire Packet

In addition to completing the New Hire Packet, please be sure to attach the proper state tax forms to be included in your packet. (This will be based on your students’ address, if an International Student use Kentucky State Tax Form):
