Northern Kentucky University – just minutes from downtown Cincinnati, offering top-notch academic programs and one of the safest campuses in the region just became even more affordable!

What is EDGE?

The Tuition Incentive Program (TIP) has been replaced with EDGE, short for Educational Discount to Graduate and Excel, a new program beginning in the fall of 2019!  New first-time, full-time freshman entering NKU in the fall of 2019 will pay $10,000* annual tuition, which is more than $9,000 off annual out-of-state tuition costs.  EDGE offers a tuition discount to recognize academic excellence of students from 12 states and 12 countries out-side of Kentucky.  Students must have a high school GPA of 2.5 unweighted or greater to qualify for $10,000 annual tuition ($5,000 fall and $5,000 spring).

NKU is committed to offering an affordable college education tuition, housing rates and meal plans and this program will allow high school students to enroll at NKU for less than many in-state colleges/universities.
