Summer Housing Information

Summer housing will be in Norse Hall.

NKU Summer Housing Timeline

• March 2: Summer Housing 2025 Application Open

• May 10: Summer Housing Transition from 10am-12pm

• August 7: Last day of Summer Housing

• August 8: All residents moved out or transition to Fall Housing by 12pm

Summer Housing Eligibility

Residents interested in living on campus for the summer will need to meet the following criteria to qualify for summer housing:

• Be enrolled in either 1 credit hour during Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 classes.

• Submit their Summer Housing Contract.

At this time, incoming first-year and transfer students do not qualify for Summer 2026 Housing.  

Summer Housing Rates

Summer 2026 Housing rates are on our website. The summer rate will be for the entire summer, regardless of the length of time a resident chooses to stay in summer housing. Summer Housing residents will be manually assigned into their Summer Housing assignment.   

Important Information

• All Summer Housing and Dining fees must be paid prior to May 11, 2026.

• The transition into summer housing will be on Sunday, May 10 from 10 am-12 pm.  
  • Residents will not be given access to their summer housing space before this time. 

• Residents will be allowed to stay in their current residential space until the summer transition time begins on Sunday, May 10, 2025 at 10 am.   

Residents continuing to live on-campus for Fall 2026 will begin transitioning to their Fall  assignments beginning Friday, August 7, 2026. All residents must be moved out of summer housing by Saturday, August 8, by 12:00pm.
