Your online presence is a reflection of your past experiences and your plans for the future.  LinkedIn is like a combination of your resume and a professional version of Facebook.  It summarizes your past experiences and it's an easy way to stay in touch with your contacts.  Recruiters from many sectors of the economy are using LinkedIn to search for qualified candidates to hire for their internship/co-op and full-time positions.

With more than 300 million users, LinkedIn is a great way for you to connect with professionals working in your field of study!  You can use it to search and apply for jobs, learn more about organizations, join groups related to your major and interests, and network with professionals and alumni from NKU.

The following Tip Sheets will provide you with more information.  Additionally, we offer a LinkedIn and Social Media Strategies workshop each semester.  Visit our Programs/Events page for details!
