Minimum 90 days of aggregate service (after 9/10/2001) or 30 days of continuous service if discharged for disability.

Had military pay reduced by $100 per month for 12 months, and continuously served active duty for a minimum of 2 years. (Other eligibility categories available; see www.gibill.va.gov for details.)

Complete Initial Active Duty Training, and currently serving the 6-year obligation.

Same eligibility as CH 1606 plus a minimum of 90 consecutive days of active service (active service determined on DD form 214).

Service-Connected disability of 20% or more.

It is necessary to work directly with a VA Voc Rehab counselor directly to determine candidacy for program.

Maximum Award

Veterans may be eligible for up to 48 months, but no more than 36 months of a single benefit.
