HIS 607 Exhibits in Museums and Historic Sites

Our Project is/was an exhibit celebrating the 225 year history of the City of Newport in 50 artifacts.  We challenged ourselves to raise $1,500 dollars that would be matched by the Scripps Howard Center for Civic Engagement.  We successfully raised well over $2,000 for the exhibit, from the East Row Historic District and Buffalo Wild Wings.  Our exhibit will open in late May in Newport on the Levee as part of their reopening celebration.  The exhibit will include objects, photographs and some experimental holograms to tell the story of what makes Newport unique.
