The World Health Organization has declared the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) a worldwide pandemic. NKU Testing Services is taking the health crisis seriously and monitoring guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the State of Kentucky, and other governmental and health authorities. Our top priority is the health, safety, and security of our examinees.
All visitors coming to campus are required to complete the Healthy@NKU assessment on the day of their exam.
Read through driving directions, learn about parking options and check out the campus map with walking directions to be sure you make it to the Testing Services building without a hitch.
If you have never done on-campus testing before it can seem a little overwhelming at first. View this handy guide to beccome acquainted with the process to ease the experience.
When you arrive at NKU Testing Services on your test day, you will be greeted by a friendly Testing Assistant. You will sign in with our touch screen device and asked to provide your government-issued I.D.(s), along with any necessary paperwork for your specific exam.
Next, you will be asked to lock up all personal belongings in one of our secure lockers. This includes, but not limited to:
After your belongings have been secured in your locker, you may be asked to fill out additional paperwork for your exam, depending on your exam sponsor.
For Praxis examinees only: You must go through a metal detection process by one of our trained, courteous Testing Assistants before you enter the testing room. This is required by Praxis.
Finally, a Testing Assistant will show you to your assigned seat. Items available to you in the testing room:
