Accommodated Classroom Exams

The information provided on this website is intended for current students of Northern Kentucky University that receive testing accommodations through the Office for Student Accessibility.

Exam Proctoring is a service provided by the Office of Testing Services at Northern Kentucky University to assist faculty with providing reasonable accommodations to students with documented disabilities. Students eligible for proctoring will be given a letter from the Office for Student Accessibility supporting the need for the special accommodations. The student should present this letter to the faculty member as soon as possible to begin the exam scheduling process.

Testing Services is located in the University Center, Room 101 (Ground Level)

Exams must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.

LATE TESTING PROCEDURES

If you need late testing (testing that runs past 4:30 pm), please keep in mind the following information:

  1. You must be taking the exam for an evening class. Classes that start after 4:30 pm are considered evening classes.
  2. You must request Late Testing from our office via phone at (859) 572-6373 or email at testing@nku.edu at least 7 days in advance of when you will be taking your exam. This process will allow us to plan for adequate staffing for your exam.
  3. We close promptly at 8:00 p.m. for late testing, so please factor in your extended time to allow yourself enough time to complete your exam.
  4. There will be no late testing on Fridays.
