The Praxis Series™ tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations.
If you would like information on which test to take, please contact your academic advisor. You may also go to http://www.ets.org/praxis for more information. Please note that Northern Kentucky University's Testing Services does not have access to your test scores. Test scores can be found through your account on the ETS website.
To register for one of the Praxis Series tests, please go to http://www.ets.org/praxis.
ETS is committed to serving test takers with disabilities or health-related needs by providing accommodations that are reasonable and appropriate given the purpose of the test. Testing accommodations are available for test takers who meet ETS requirements.
You must bring a government-issued picture identification card that includes both your picture and your signature on the day of the test. Any other form of identification WILL NOT be accepted and you will not be able to test. For questions regarding Praxis ID requirements, please visit the Praxis ID webpage.
Graphing, scientific and 4-function calculators are permitted or provided for some Praxis tests. Unless it’s specifically stated that a calculator is permitted for a particular test, you can’t use one. For questions regarding calculators, please reference the Praxis calculator webpage.
PLEASE REMEMBER: ETS does not permit examinees to have their cell phones at the testing facility. Please leave cell phones in your car or at home. If cell phones are found, examinees will be dismissed from testing.
