The STAMP (STAndards-based Measurement of Proficiency) is a four part web-based exam that determines language proficiency in 4 domains (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking). The results are aligned with the ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Language) proficiency scale. The test takes approximately 2-2.5 hours to complete. Students have the option of doing all four assessments in one session OR doing two each in two separate sessions—one for Reading and Writing and one for Listening and Speaking.
Students must be currently registered in WLL 400 at NKU to take the STAMP.
