Northern Kentucky University's Office of Testing Services is an approved testing site for many Distance Learning colleges and universities. Testing Services is available to accommodate students who may need a secure place to take a Distance Learning Examination.
Examinees who are interested in scheduling a test with NKU Testing Services should first contact their college or university to make sure that NKU is an approved testing site for that institution. If not, Testing Services will follow any procedure necessary to become one.
To register to take a proctored examination at NKU, please click on the "Register Now" button below. Examinees are required to pay the registration fee at the time of registration to secure the date and time.
Testing Services may provide evening testing hours upon request. Please email testing@nku.edu to inquire.
A minimum of $35 is required to register, which will cover the first 2 testing hours. An additional $15 will be added for each hour thereafter. If you know how long your test will require, please sign up for the time needed. If you exceed your scheduled time, an additional fee will be collected (Cash or Money Order only) at the Testing Center in order to continue testing.
Proctored testing is offered Monday-Friday, at various times.
Registration fees are non-refundable. If you wish to reschedule, you may do so without a charge 7 days prior to your scheduled test date. If you do reschedule after the 7-day grace period, you must register and pay the fee again.
