Arrival:

Once you arrive at NKU Testing Services, you will be greeted by a friendly Testing Assistant. He or she will ask you for your government-issued I.D., along with any necessary paperwork for your specific exam.

Secure your belongings:

Next, you will be asked to lock up all personal belongings in a secure locker. This includes, but not limited to:

• Cell phones or any electronic devices (these must be powered off or turned on silent mode)
• Bookbags, purses, wallets, etc.
• Coats, hats, sunglasses, Google Glass, and watches
• Food and drinks
• Any additional items that are not needed/allowed for testing

Finalize paperwork as appropriate:

After your belongings have been secured in your locker, you may be asked to fill out additional paperwork for your exam, depending on your exam sponsor.

Go Through Security:

For Praxis examinees only: You must go through a metal detection process by one of our trained, courteous Testing Assistants before you enter the testing room. This is required by Praxis.

Seated for Success :

Finally, a Testing Assistant will show you to your assigned seat.
