Colleagues:

It has been just over two months since Dr. Ashish Vaidya was announced as NKU’s next president. Members of the Board and I have been in close contact with him since then, and I can tell you that he remains very enthusiastic and deeply engaged.

As a part of his transition, Dr. Vaidya is eager to make a few visits to campus prior to his start date in July. His first visit will be Wednesday, January 24. On that date, Dr. Vaidya wants to spend time connecting directly with two of our most valuable assets – the faculty and the staff. There will be an open forum for each group where you will have the opportunity to hear directly from Dr. Vaidya and ask him questions you may have. Dr. Vaidya is also interested in using that time to learn more about your work in support of our students and the university. The times and locations are as follows:

Faculty – 10:15am-11:45am in the Otto Budig Theater in University Center

Staff – 1:30pm-3:00pm in the Otto Budig Theater in University Center

Please plan on joining Dr. Vaidya for these scheduled opportunities to get to know one another better as he prepares for his arrival to lead our university.

If you have any questions, please contact Ben Jager, Executive Assistant to the President and Secretary to the Board of Regents at jagerb1@nku.edu.
