Jessica is a marketing major at Northern Kentucky University. Despite following a business path, Jessica has always been passionate about fitness, which has led her to get her certification as a personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She currently works at the NKU Recreation Center as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, where she creates workouts that are fun yet effective. Jess believes the most critical aspect of exercise is how you feel and strives to stress the importance of both mental and physical fitness. She enjoys weightlifting, cardio, and exercising outdoors. Working with Jess will provide you the framework to achieve your fitness goals and create healthy habits that will last a lifetime!
Maiya is a BFA candidate with a dance track and a minor in Communications. She holds a certification through the National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA) and specializes in functional training and mobility training. She believes the number one step to making exercise a part of your daily life is to find ways to make it fun. She gets exercise through many different sports and activities such as biking and roller skating. Aside from dancing, Maiya is a former gymnast, volleyball player, basketball player, track runner, and has played soccer for 15 years, and currently is a goalkeeper for the NKU Women’s club soccer team. When designing a program for you, you’ll be sure to find that meeting your goals can also be enjoyable!
Gage graduated from Northern Kentucky University with degrees in Organizational Leadership (B.A.) and Industrial-Organizational Psychology (M.S.). He currently works with the International Coaching Federation and is an adjunct faculty in the Department of Psychological Science here at NKU. Through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), he has certifications and has been training with clients for six years with specializations in weight loss, behavioral change, and stress management. His wellness philosophy revolves around overall health and well-being, mentally and physically!
Jimmy graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in Health Education: Exercise and Fitness and currently enrolled in NKU's Master of Exercise Science program. He has a certification through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and specializes in weight loss, functional training, and strength programming. He believes exercise can come in several different ways, be fun, and shouldn't feel like a chore. Jimmy loves to lift, run, play Frisbee golf, and anything else that involves the outdoors. Jimmy will design a program just for you to get you the results you want while having fun in the process!
