Summer 2025 Housing Information

Summer housing will be in Norse Hall.

NKU Summer Housing Timeline

• March 3, 2025: Summer Housing 2025 Application Open

• May 11, 2025: Summer Housing Transition from 10am-12pm

• August 8, 2025: Last day of Summer Housing

• August 9, 2025: All residents moved out by 12pm

Residents interested in living on campus for the summer will need to meet the following criteria to qualify for summer housing:

• Be enrolled in either Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 classes. 

• Submit their Summer Housing 2025 Application.

• Demonstrated financial resources to cover all summer housing costs. Residents will be asked to show proof of their financial ability to cover all summer housing costs either via Financial Aid, personal payments, etc.  

At this time, incoming first-year and transfer students do not qualify for Summer 2025 Housing.  

Summer Housing rate: The Summer 2025 Housing rates on our website. The summer rate will be for the entire summer, regardless of the length of time a resident chooses to stay in summer housing. Summer Housing residents will be manually assigned into their Summer Housing assignment.   

Important Information Summer 2025 Housing  

• All Summer Housing and Dining fees must be paid prior to May 12, 2025.  For summer 2025, there will be no installment plan available.

The transition into summer housing will be on Sunday, May 11, 2025 from 10am-12pm.  

• Residents will not be given access to their summer housing space before the time of move-in.  

• Residents will be allowed to stay in their current residential space until the summer transition time begins on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 10am.   

Residents continuing to live on-campus for Fall 2025 will begin transitioning to their Fall 2025 assignments beginning Friday, August 8, 2025. All residents must be moved out of summer housing by Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 12:00pm.
