The library assists researchers with copyrights, trademarks, patents, and more and is an official Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) representing the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
The library provides personalized support for a variety of digital humanities tools. We help researchers identify tools for each project, curate resources to support implementation, and provide direct support whenever possible. Potential project types include non-linear narratives, visualizations, maps, timelines, text and data analyses, and rapid prototyping (3D printing and laser cutting in partnership with our Stego Studio).
The library helps researchers facilitate the sharing, reuse, and dissemination of their scholarship. Areas of focus include open access, Creative Commons Licensing, and self-archiving in NKU’s Digital Repository.
