Course Reserves are materials and resources that have been set aside at the Steely Library by a faculty member to be used for a class; they can be either print or electronic.
From summer 2026 through spring 2027 Steely Library will be relocated on the 3rd and 5th floors of Landrum Academic Center while necessary HVAC construction happens in the library building. A core collection of items will be available in Landrum during the relocation, but no new library-owned course reserves can be requested during the relocation. This form can be used to submit requests for your own course material copy to be placed in the course reserve collection.
Electronic Course Reserves
Steely Library can procure digital rights to course readings on behalf of instructors. Once the material is licensed, the instructor will receive a permalink that can be added to Canvas. This form can be used to submit requests for these digital course materials.
Instructors are responsible for operating within fair use guidelines when placing material on reserve. Contact the library for more information.
