    New Primary Source Materials

    New resources have been added to the Digital Repository, including 28 oral histories or transcripts from the Garrett Collection interviews with rural Kentuckians in Appalachia. Also, the Bruce Family Papers (a large, 19th century slave owning Covington, KY family involved in business, banking, agriculture and the Roebling Bridge construction) discuss aspects of slavery, the Civil War, health including cholera out breaks.
