SCOPE AND CONTENT:

This collection consists of organizational records, newsletters, playbills, scripts, and production notes from Theatre Productions, Inc., a civic theatre in Campbell County, Kentucky.  It is organized into two series.

Series I, Organizational Records, includes the organization’s constitution, membership duties list and rosters, correspondence, financial reports, season ticket packages, and a history of Theatre Production, Inc. The series also has newsletters, event programs, and news clippings.

Series II, Production Materials, contains materials from the productions put on by the organization. It includes playbills and show programs, scripts, and production notes.

HISTORICAL SKETCH:

Theatre Productions, Inc. was a civic theatre in Campbell County, Kentucky. It was organized in 1948 to give local talent the opportunity to stage plays and musical productions for the community. Sections of the group also performed for external community programs and concerts. The group is no longer active.
