The Hartman Genealogical Collection is comprised of an extensive array of genealogical and historical records, manuscripts, and books from Campbell County and northern Kentucky. Mrs. Hartman performed genealogical searches by request, gathering records on Campbell County residents and their histories over the course of roughly 40 years.

The collection includes her accumulated 20,000 file cards, 145 notebooks, numerous historical books, census records, periodicals, and other materials documenting an impressive part of northern Kentucky history. It also contains a series of records from the Campbell County Coroner's Office, which are a rich source of genealogical information.
