For nearly 30 years, Mrs. Roberts wrote a daily poetry column ("Rimes of the Times" and later, "Rime 'n' Reason") for the Kentucky Times Star (later the Post). Most of the poems are about local news, deaths, births, anniversaries and marriages, but on occasion Roberts writes something of national scope (e.g., the Kennedy assassination).
This collection contains manuscript notebooks of Mrs. Roberts' poetry as well as newspaper clippings of the published work.
