Grant and Other Support Disclosure

Northern Kentucky University (NKU) requires all faculty and researchers listed as Senior/Key Personnel on any federally funded grant to complete training on disclosure responsibilities before a proposal can be submitted.

This requirement applies across all federal sponsors, including NIH, NSF, and others, and ensures that NKU remains in full compliance with evolving federal research security and transparency standards.

NKU's policy for Other Grant "Other Support" Training is currently under review for approval.

Please note:

  • This training takes approximately 1 hour.
  • You are responsible for saving a copy of the completion certificate.
  • This training expires in 12 months. When submitting a federal grant, you must have completed this training within 12 months of applying for the grant.
  • You will be asked for a copy of the certificate for each federal grant that you submit. If you do not have a copy of the certificate, you will have to retake the training.
  • Please be aware, if you close the training out in the middle, it might not save your progress.
