Training is critical to ensure safety for personnel listed on IBC approved protocols. Training is intended to provide the understanding, technical knowledge, and tools that improve laboratory safety practices.

The Principal Investigator is responsible for ensuring that all personnel listed on an IBC approved protocol receive the proper training in biohazard use and lab safety. The table below outlines the required and recommended trainings for personnel listed on IBC protocols.
