In a message to the university, President Ashish Vaidya announced that NKU is delaying the start of Spring classes by one week due to the recent spike of COVID cases in the region. All NKU Spring classes will begin on Tuesday, January 18.
In response to the President's message, Steely is reducing operating hours from January 8-14, 2022. The Omicron variant is expected to peak quickly. Therefore, Steely plans to resume regular operating hours by the start of the semester.
