We are excited to invite currently enrolled NKU students to submit an application for Steely Library's Board of Student Stakeholders (BOSS). BOSS is a committee that meets monthly to provide input on library services, policies, collections, spaces, programming, technology, and promotion.

As a member of BOSS, your role will be to provide feedback on current library initiatives and to serve as ambassadors and advocates for the library. The BOSS team will work together during the 2022-23 academic year to complete a $3,000 library improvement project of your choice. You will be asked to commit to participating in eight meetings and any additional time that might be required to complete the improvement project (this depends on the nature of the project, which BOSS members will determine).

BOSS members have the unique opportunity to:

  • Gain leadership and project management experience
  • Provide feedback on library projects
  • Learn more about library and information services
  • Develop and implement a library improvement project that benefits all students

Interested in joining?

Applications are due no later than Monday, August 29.

APPLY TODAY

Questions about the Board of Student Stakeholders can be directed to Brianna Marshall, Senior Associate Dean at Steely Library (marshallb7@nku.edu).
