Get help 

Stuck on a research paper? Not sure where to find the most reliable, peer-reviewed sources? Can’t access an article your professor asked you to read for class? Ask a Steely Librarian!  

• Chat with us online 24/7 to get your question answered. 
• Schedule a one-on-one consultation with a librarian to get personalized assistance, no matter where you are in the research process. For undergraduates, consultations can be scheduled directly in Navigate. For graduate students, consultations are scheduled through this form. 
• View our FAQs for answers to some of our most frequently asked questions. 
• Check out our Library 101 videos, providing you quick tutorials on how to use our resources. 

Use our resources

• Review our list of Research Guides to find subject specific databases to support your research. 
• Explore our A-Z database list to find new resources.  
• Stop by our third-floor desk to pick up courses reserves or see if your textbook is a part of our UCAP Lending Library. 

Use our space 

• Reserve a group study room. 
• Decompress in our Wellness Space, located on the fourth floor of Steely Library. 
• Make something in Stego Studio, our makerspace. 
• Learn about NKU and NKY regional history in our Special Collections & University Archives Reading Room. 

Get involved 

• Submit an application to join Steely’s Board of Student Stakeholders (BOSS). This group meets throughout the academic year and provides feedback to the library. Applications are due September 22! 
• Sign up for a Stego Studio workshop. This fall, we’ll be hosting workshops to create a semester planner, learn more about 3D modeling and printing, create your own personalized keychain, and make some holiday cards. All workshops are free to attend, and you can learn more and sign up on our MyEngagement page.
