Summer 2024 Housing Information

Summer housing will be in Northern Terrace Residence Hall in East Village.

NKU Summer Housing Timeline

• March 1, 2024: Summer Housing 2022 Application Open 

• May 5, 2024: Summer Housing Transition

• August 9, 2024: Last day of Summer Housing  

• August 10, 2024: All residents moved out by 12pm

Residents interested in living on campus for the summer will need to meet the following criteria to qualify for summer housing: 

• Must already be living on-campus during the Spring 2024 Semester

• Be enrolled in either Spring 2024 or Fall 2024 classes. 

• Submit their Summer Housing 2024 Application.

• Demonstrated financial resources to cover all summer housing costs. Residents will be asked to show proof of their financial ability to cover all summer housing costs either via the Installment Plan, Financial Aid, personal payments, etc.  

At this time, incoming first-year and transfer students do not qualify for Summer 2024 Housing.  

Summer Housing rate: The Summer 2024 Housing rates on our website. The summer rate will be for the entire summer, regardless of the length of time a resident chooses to stay in summer housing. Summer Housing residents will be manually assigned into their Summer Housing assignment.   

Important Information Summer 2024 Housing  

• All Summer Housing and Dining fees must be paid prior to May 5, 2024.  For summer 2024, there will be no installment plan available.   

• If you currently live in Northern Terrace, you will be moved to another Northern Terrace space between Floors 3 – 6.  

The transition into summer housing will be on Sunday, May 5, 2025.  The move-in time frame will be shared with summer residents in mid-April.  

• Residents will not be given access to their summer housing space before May 5, 2024. 

• Summer Housing Rate: $2500

• Residents will be allowed to stay in their current residential space until the summer transition time begins on Sunday, May 5, 2024.   

Residents continuing to live on-campus for Fall 2024 will begin transitioning to their Fall 2024 assignments beginning Friday, August 9. All residents must be moved out of summer housing by Saturday, August 10 at 12:00pm.
