We are excited to announce the most recent gift of 18 prints by artist Robert Del Tredici interpreting Herman Melville’s book Moby-Dick. Mr. Del Tredici has exhibited his work in Europe, Russia, Japan, Canada, and the USA. A 2016 Cincinnati exhibit at the Contemporary Arts Center was the first time the full range of his Moby-Dick work had been seen in public.

Since 2013 Mr. Del Tredici has donated more than 134 pieces of his work to the Special Collections and University Archives department to create the Robert Del Tredici Art Interpreting Moby-Dick Collection. This is believed to be one of the largest public collections of Del Tredici’s work on Moby-Dick. Pieces from the collection were included in the 2016 exhibit.

These pieces may be seen by appointment due to current COVID precautions. Please email Lois Hamill to schedule a visit.
