Updated daily with new content, Ethnic NewsWatch provides thousands of scholarly, full-text articles for area and ethnic studies, such as Jewish studies, African American studies, and Hispanic American studies. It also has the largest full-text archive of Native American publications. Of the more than 2.5 million articles contained in the collection, nearly a quarter are in Spanish. Dozens of major Latino publications are featured, including El Nuevo Herald, and El Chicano Weekly. Also included is the historical file “Ethnic NewsWatch: A History,” which provides an ethnic perspective of major events from 1959 to 1989 by offering over 300,000 articles from primary source materials.
