LOEX was founded in 1971 after Eastern Michigan University hosted the First Annual Conference on Library Orientation. Since then, LOEX has grown into an annual conference providing practical and innovative presentations on instruction and outreach as well as an organization that publishes regular content to keep its members up to date on information literacy instruction trends.

As a new member, Steely Library will have access to the LOEX Quarterly and LOEX Currents publications, along with members-first access to their annual conference hosted in May. We are excited for this membership and the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the world interested and invested in providing impactful instruction to aid student success.
