Career Services recognizes the important role parents and other family members play in the lives of their student. When it comes to attaining success in college, choosing majors and careers, and preparing for a professional job search, the support and guidance of parents and family can be invaluable.
Likewise, our staff can play a pivotal role in helping your student prepare for and make realistic decisions about his or her career path. Encourage your student to take advantage of the services we offer to help him or her find a satisfying career. We offer students individual assistance with exploring careers and majors; finding and securing internships and co-ops; planning for graduate school, and preparing for the job search.
We present campus-wide workshops and programs on a variety of career-related topics and also teach a career development course to assist students with career planning. Career fairs each semester bring scores of employers to campus to recruit students for co-ops, internships, and full-time professional positions.
